My passion for creating maps, diagrams and blueprints
Ever since I was a kid, I always felt the need to learn and see how things are and work, so I was always looking for the opportunity or chance to see what they looked like on the inside, which sometimes caused me to unintentionally break them. At the same time, I also felt the need to create a gadget (like the video camera head mount). This intention led me to use my drawing skills to visualize, to transfer from mind to paper or digital media, the notion of that structure that was the object of my observation or creation. Little by little these designs of blueprints were generated with digital tools, and several of these works became artistic proposals where I could express myself in the form of blueprints depicting a philosophy, a point of view, a visual breakdown of a system (Engineering Flowerya series).
As part of my interest in knowing how things work, I started to create blueprints or concept maps with the aim of describing the structure of a logical process, a thought, an analysis. At first I drew these diagrams with pencil or pen, but eventually I found a program that allowed me to speed up and refine this work. The opportunity for a practical application appeared and I went into conceptual and functional design, in this case oriented to application development.
For my part, my tireless interest in knowing how things are and how they work, from the physical and mental point of view remains. And this is the reason why I am passionate about technology, engineering, education, science, philosophy, and of course art, because the latter is the way to express myself through the blueprints.
